LASIK
LASIK is a laser vision correction eye surgery to correct conditions such as nearsightedness, farsightedness and astigmatism. These conditions cause images to be blurry and lack sharp, clear definition as a result of a malformation of the cornea, or the front of the eye. The procedure improves visual clarity.
LASIK is performed on an outpatient basis and offers patients benefits such as reduced pain, shorter recovery time and is an alternative to glasses or contact lenses.
